Rental terms & digital signing
Read through the terms and sign digitally. You and we each get a copy of the signed agreement by email.
In case of dispute, the Swedish original version of the agreement applies.
1. Rental period
The rental period is counted from the agreed handover/pickup time to the same time on the return day. Full day means 08:00 – 20:00 the same day. Whole weekend means Friday 17:00 to Sunday 20:00. Late returns are charged SEK 150 per started hour.
2. Responsibility for the equipment
The renter is responsible for the equipment from handover to return. It shall be returned in the same condition as at handover, apart from normal wear. Damage, loss or theft is compensated by the renter up to SEK 7,500 per board, SEK 1,500 per paddle and SEK 800 per life jacket.
3. Safety
The renter agrees to always wear the life jacket, paddle sober and adapt the activity to weather, wind and personal ability. Children under 15 must always paddle in the company of an adult. Sjöbris SUP is not liable for personal injuries during the rental.
4. Weather & cancellation
In strong wind (>10 m/s), thunder or other dangerous weather we contact you to move the booking at no cost. Cancellation at least 24 hours before rental start is free. Later cancellation is charged at 50% of the rental price.
5. Payment
Payment is made by Swish QR code after the agreement has been signed and before handover. A receipt is sent digitally on request.
6. Personal data
We store your data (name, contact details, signed agreement) for the purpose of fulfilling the rental agreement and for legally required bookkeeping. The data is not shared with third parties and is deleted after 24 months. Data controller: Lins och Lager / Sjöbris SUP.
